Terms of Service
Last updated: October 10, 2026These terms are the agreement between you and Sanganak Works Private Limited for using Saras. We've kept them as plain as we can. By using Saras, or by tapping a button that says you agree, you accept them.
Who you're agreeing with
Saras is provided by Sanganak Works Private Limited, a company incorporated in India (CIN U62010UW2026PTC259543) ("Sanganak Works", "we", "us"). If you use Saras for Educators on behalf of a coaching business, you accept these terms for that business too.
What Saras is
Saras is an AI GMAT coach you talk to through messaging apps like Telegram. It sets a daily focus, analyses your errors, finds study material and tells you when it thinks you're ready. We also offer a paid assessment, and Saras for Educators for GMAT coaches.
Saras is in early access. We change it often, features may come and go, and it may sometimes be unavailable. We'll tell you about changes that matter.
Saras isn't affiliated with or endorsed by GMAC. GMAT™ is a trademark of the Graduate Management Admission Council.
Saras is AI
Saras's advice is generated by AI models. It can make mistakes, misread a question, or suggest something that doesn't suit you. Use your judgment, check anything important (like registration deadlines) with official sources, and don't treat Saras's advice as professional, financial or admissions advice.
No score guarantee. We can't control your effort or what happens on exam day, so we don't promise any particular score or result.
Your account
You need to be 18 or older to use Saras. Give us accurate details, and keep your messaging account and email secure: anyone who can message Saras from your account can see your coaching history.
Your access key is for you alone. Don't share or resell it.
Acceptable use
Don't use Saras to:
- break exam rules, including GMAC's, for example by getting help during a live test or sharing real exam questions
- harass anyone, or send unlawful, harmful or abusive content
- disrupt, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or get around its limits
- pretend to be someone else, or use someone else's account without permission
We may limit, suspend or end access for anyone who does.
Your content and how we use data
You own what you send Saras: your messages, notes, files and scores. You give us permission to store and process it to run Saras for you, and to use it in anonymised form to improve Saras and Saras for Educators.
In brief, here's how data is used. The Privacy Policy has the full detail.
- Cohort learning. Anonymised data from all students improves Saras's playbook for everyone. You can opt out by emailing us, and your coaching won't change.
- Saras for Educators. Anonymised insights from students power Saras for Educators, and coaches start from that playbook. Coaches never receive your identifiable data this way.
- A coach's data stays with that coach. Data from a coach's program is private to that coach by default. It's used to improve Saras for other students only if the coach opts in, and then only aggregated and anonymised.
- Coach handoff needs your yes. Saras never shares your scores, study consistency or error patterns with a partner coach without asking you first, every time.
- Third-party channels. Your messages travel through the apps you use to reach Saras (like Telegram, iMessage through Photon, and email) and through the providers listed in the Privacy Policy.
Third-party apps and services
Saras runs on and connects to services we don't control, like Telegram, Apple, Photon, Meta, Google and our AI providers. Their terms apply to your use of them, and we're not responsible for their outages, changes or decisions, for example if one of them restricts your account.
Resources Saras recommends belong to their owners. We don't control or endorse them.
Payments, trials and cancelling
Paid plans and the Saras assessment are sold through Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record. Dodo is the seller on your receipt, handles payment, billing and sales tax, and its buyer terms also apply to your purchase. While we move our Dodo account to Sanganak Works, purchases are listed as "saras.works".
Prices, trial length and billing frequency are shown on our pricing page and at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. If your plan starts with a trial, cancelling before the trial ends means you won't be charged for the plan, though anything you paid for the trial itself isn't refunded. If you cancel later, you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
To cancel, email contact@sanganak.works and we'll take care of it.
Except where the law says otherwise, payments aren't refundable, and the assessment fee is non-refundable. If something's gone wrong, email us and we'll look at it fairly. If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you keep any withdrawal and refund rights the law gives you.
We may change prices. We'll tell you before a change affects your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.
Saras for Educators
If you're a coach using Saras for Educators, your students' data is processed on your behalf and stays private to your program by default. We'll agree the details with you, including any data processing terms, before you onboard students. You're responsible for having the right to share your students' data with Saras and for telling them how you use it.
Our software and brand
Saras's software, design, playbook and brand belong to Sanganak Works. You can use Saras for your own GMAT prep, but don't copy or resell it, or use it to build a competing product.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we can use them without owing you anything.
Ending your use
You can stop using Saras and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if the law requires it. If we stop offering Saras, we'll give you reasonable notice where we can and refund any prepaid period you haven't used.
Disclaimers and liability
Saras is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise anything about it beyond these terms, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or right for your goals.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (like missed opportunities or admissions outcomes), and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of India. If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can bring a claim there.
If you have a problem, please email us first. Most things can be sorted out quickly.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we'll update the date at the top. For changes that matter, we'll tell you by email or in chat before they take effect. If you keep using Saras after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel.
